A Picnic in the Park on Sunday August 6, gathered a number of Rotarians from around the District, at Shiawassee Park in Farmington. Alumni was the focus of the conversation, the importance of getting and keeping in touch with the alumni from each and every club in the District.
Rotary International is accumulating and updating records on program alumni from the programs Interact, Rotaract, Youth Exchange, Ambassadorial and Peace Scholars, and Group
Study Exchange. It is hoped that clubs will scour their files and memories to locate and contact their sponsored alumni. The purpose of course is to reignite their interest in Rotary,
hopefully to become active Rotarian members.
