Mike and I are very grateful to be following Barry and Carolyn Fraser, our good friends, on our leadership journey. It has been an honor to serve with them on the Governor team for 2017-2018. Now it’s my time to serve all of you in District 6380 for the next year. I’m both humbled and proud to be your Governor.
Over the last five years I have be able to meet and get to know many of you and your clubs. From small to big, you have shown me engaging and inspired clubs that are dedicated to changing our world and communities. This puts us in alignment with the Rotary vision statement. “Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities and in ourselves.”
Rotary’s theme this year is “Be the Inspiration”. Our new Rotary International President, Barry Rassin, has certainly been an inspiration to me and he is an engaging, dedicated leader for all of us. We have the flexibility to become stronger and more vibrant. As we develop new ideas and solutions, we will be able to better serve our communities and the world.
