Boys and Girls Club Southfield

It's no secret that SARC (Southfield Area Rotary Club) has a special place in its heart for kids. During October, SARC Rotarians were joined by some of our friends from Fox Sports Network Detroit for a night of food and fun with the Southfield Boys & Girls Club. Fun was had by all as the group played board games and ping pong to help the kids unwind after a full day of school (after their homework was completed of course)! Special thanks to FSN Detroit and Happy's Pizza for making sure our young buddies were playing on a full stomach.  Fox Sports Detroit covered the cost of food and even sent one of their guys out to join our members in playing board games, ping pong and other fun activities. Happy’s Pizza in Southfield gave us a great deal on the pizza and threw in some extras like cookies, brownies, and drinks. Kids in the Boys & Girls Club ranged from middle to high school age.
