Interact Club of West Bloomfield Walks for Peace At MLK Celebration
Our Interact Club has a goal of at least one service project per month.

In January, their projects included a “Purple Pinky” drive and participating in the community’s “United We Walk” event that honors the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and celebrates West Bloomfield’s rich diversity.

During the week of January 14, club members used their lunch hours at West Bloomfield High School to collect donations for PolioPlus while educating fellow students on this terrible disease.  On Sunday January 21, at the United We Walk celebration, they again talked about Polio, collected donations for PolioPlus and participated in a community project to benefit Grace Centers of Hope.

We are so proud of the young people in our Interact Club!  They truly embody the spirit of “Service Above Self.”  West Bloomfield Rotarians Vinita Parekh and Marian Soditch are the sponsors of the West Bloomfield Interact Club.  West Bloomfield High School Junior, Ayushi Uppel, is president.
