Project Uplift

On Monday, May 6, the club received an update on the progress of the school classroom construction taking place for Project Uplift in Vietnam.  As recognition to our club commitment to the project Ann Arbor Rotary West will be recognized on a plaque at the school as one of the top donors for the project. 

 

A 501c(3) non-profit organization, Project Uplift was formed in 2003 to build preschool facilities in rural locations across central Vietnam. The group’s primary mission is to provide young Vietnamese children with an opportunity for an early childhood education which they would not otherwise receive, while at the same time promoting international goodwill and friendship between individuals and communities.
