Team Turkey 2019 participation, grant deadline, confirm by May 1
If your club wishes to participate in Team Turkey 2019 and would like assistance with a grant

Core clubs (Troy, Birmingham, West Bloomfield, Sterling Heights) will participate (contributions
similar to 2019 team Turkey) are working to bring on additional clubs and grow to 300-350 meals
deliveries Thanksgiving morning, November 28, 2019.

Discussion: Geographically, what area makes most sense to expand into based on community need
and interested Rotary clubs?
Decision: Commerce Township area; Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor North, Lakes Area, Pontiac, Livingston
Sunrise, Waterford, Brighton, consider Ferndale, Hazel Park..
Discussion: What is required from clubs to participate?

Decision: Commitment of $1000 (which will fund 10 meals) and we will offer to submit a request of
$500 in District grant money on their behalf and submit in a block grant by May 15th, if they desire.
Clubs will be trained to solicit eligible families that meet specific criteria utilizing community
organizations.

District DropBox folder will contain easy to use template fundraising templates, letters to solicit
donations and graphics.

Will be where all fundraising efforts are directed.
