Calling all Livingston County Peanut Heads….
Our local Gleaners Community Food Bank is in need of Peanut Butter. The USDA contract changed for the first quarter and they will not be getting Peanut Butter as part of their contract this quarter. Brighton Rotary has already collected 120 pounds of Peanut Butter. What a great way to suppose our community members. Asking other Livingston County clubs to Rally the Troops and collect any brand, any style (Creamy or Crunchy) of Peanut Butter to get Gleaners through this shortage. Large jars are preferred but any size will be accepted. Peanut Butter is a shelf-stable and a great source of protein for Gleaners recipients. Gleaners Community Food Bank is located at 5924 Sterling, Howell for drop off. Thanks in advance for help our friends and neighbors.
